Moonlight, the Åndalsnes-based maker of premium headlamps, has entered into a partnership with Oskar Pedersen AS. The two companies will work together on public procurement for government customers in the Scandinavian countries.

Under the agreement, Oskar Pedersen will act as the main tenderer and contractor, and Moonlight will supply headlamps and personal lighting as a subcontractor. Founded in 1925 and now in its fourth generation of family ownership, Oskar Pedersen supplies operative equipment primarily to government entities in the Nordics, as well as providing contract management, quality management, logistics, legal and service support.

"Every lamp we supply through this partnership is designed and assembled here in Åndalsnes and built for people who can't afford their light to fail," said Matt Lefort, CEO of Moonlight. "Oskar Pedersen has worked with government customers across the Scandinavian countries for a century. Together we can offer Norwegian-made lighting with the highest level of contract management and service support that these customers require."

"We have long traditions of using our in-house operative backgrounds to find the right products and manufacturers that provide products and capabilities that solve the mission specific needs of our customer in the best possible manner. Moonlight is such a manufacturer. Providing innovative, world leading headlamps, optimized for both military- and professional use," said Truls Oskar Pedersen, CEO of Oskar Pedersen.
